Job Title: Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Engineer at Delta Tech Ops
Working Pattern: Onsite
Working Location: Atlanta, GA
As an on-site Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Engineer supporting Delta Tech Ops, you will support the maintenance and overhaul of gas turbine engines throughout the product life cycle. This includes technical packages, technical queries, variances, cost reduction, engine and life management plans, as well as being the primary technical interface with Delta Tech Ops in Atlanta, GA. The role requires knowledge of the Maintenance and Overhaul tools and processes, the ability to effectively liaise with Rolls-Royce engineering specialists for timely disposition of technical variances, repairs and FAIRs, and the Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) designation.

Key Accountabilities:
- Provide on-site lifecycle support to Delta Tech Ops to provide solution to issues such a part rejection rates, assembly/disassembly issues, challenges with feasibility of repairs and test cell rejection troubleshooting.
- Work directly with overhaul technicians to answer questions or provide clarity with regards to the engine manual as needed.
- Provide technical support to help resolve technical queries and operational arising
- Introduce containment actions and recommend corrective actions
- Provide technical surveillance and quality assurance audits to support continuous product enhancement for customer satisfaction and business expectation.

Develop and approve the technical content of technical
publications/communications
(used by OEM,
build/commissioning/maintenance
bases and customers) including acceptance limit development.
Identify cost reduction opportunities by reviewing and maintaining life cycle engineering policies and any associated maintenance planning documentation. - Manage any issues that effect the Maturity, Lifecycle Cost, Reliability and Maintainability and maintain Design Intent.
- Provide lifecycle technical data (build/in-service/decommissioning) and model/support modelling of through life performance, deterioration mechanisms and service attributes to create and maintain time on platform prediction, identify opportunities for optimization and support the generation of the Service Operation Validation Strategy.
- Prepare and deliver technical communications (e.g. presentation and/or reports) to platform provider, regulators, customers, internal stakeholder.
- Ensure compliance with requirements specified by regulatory authorities and to adhere to technical and business requirements of internal & external stakeholders. Where delegated, act as the Technical Authority providing assurance on build, commissioning and maintenance activities.
- Gather in-service data and carry out continuous improvement by identifying Best Practice and Learning from Experience activities, feeding back into future programmes and product design teams.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM and 2+ years of aerospace or aeronautical experience, OR
- Master’s degree in Engineering or STEM, OR
- PhD in Engineering or STEM
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of functionality of relevant components and systems with full
- consideration of the intended form, fit and function of the product
- Knowledge of manufacturing engineering and special processes
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and apply practical manufacturing thinking
- Planning and program management experience with the ability to work on multiple
- concurrent projects with competing deadlines and taking into account customer’s needs
